Although Tenncom has been in the website business since 1994, until recently it had been “de-emphasized.”

Tenncom Group Celebrates Five Years as a Licensed Agency

On January 5th, The Tenncom Group hit a five year milestone with it’s insurance Agency.

“The first property and casualty license was achieved on January 5th, 2005″ Owner John Will Tenney told us at the January 27th celebration at their offices in Orlando. “In the past five years we have added others at various times such as Life, Health and Variable Annuities; General Agency; and Managing General Agency.”

The Tenncom Group has been in business since 1994, but entered the PEO consulting world in 2003. A license became necessary in 2005 for the purposes of placing master workers’ compensation policies with PEOs.
Through it’s subsidiaries, PEO Pros and PAY-surance HR, the Tenncom Group offers the following services to PEOs:
• Custom and Master Policies in Workers’ Compensation
• Custom and Master Policies in General Liability

Article in PEO Insider by one of our prinicpals

John Will Tenney wrote an article for The PEO Insider, the national magazine for NAPEO, entitled “The Pros and Cons of Working with Brokers.”

John Will tells us, “This article when through several editorial changes before it was mutually acceptable to the Insider editor and me. My feelings were a little strong on the subject but Stephanie Oetjen calmed me down enough to publish a (hopefully) informational article.”

The article is published in the January 2010 issue on pages 30-31.

NCG North America in Partnership with PEO Pros

PEO Pros has been assigned the territory of North America by NCG Intermediaries and will dba as NCG North America, an EPLI carrier targeting PEOs.

NCG is based in London, England and works through Lloyds.

PEO Pros will function somewhat like an MGA, working with agents and brokers through a broker agreement. If PEOs are not directly working with an agent for EPLI they may contact PEO Pros directly.
